HARRISBURG – In an effort to force a change in the way school districts are funded at the state level, Reps. Mario Scavello (R-Monroe), Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike), Mike Peifer (R-Monroe/Pike/Wayne) and Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) are planning to file a lawsuit in Commonwealth Court to have the state’s 1991 funding formula ruled unconstitutional.

HARRISBURG – With the arrival of spring, Rep. Mario Scavello (R-Monroe) encourages residents with motorcycle licenses or permits to enroll in a free course to enhance riding skills through the 2012 Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program (PAMSP). There were more than 30 fatalities as a result of motor vehicle accidents in Monroe County last year, with motorcycle accident fatalities accounting for at least five of those deaths.
